Dear friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that ZeeZout Festival is officially cancelled. What a rollercoaster of a summer it has been. With ups and downs, but always a positive mind set, we continued producing our yearly festival. Everything was right this year and we were ready to take the festival to the next level.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be.

We gave it a lot of thought, can we host a 1,5M festival? Maybe we could.. But is that what we really want? Is it not the charm of a festival to touch the sweaty arms of others while moving over the dance floor, to kiss complete strangers and to hug long and strongly. Festivals are our happy place because of the love we can share with each other and we do not want that to change. Ever.

We know you have all been wanting answers and clarity for some while now, but unfortunately we had to wait until the municipality made a decision. Recently we received the official news saying that ZeeZout Festival can not take place this year. A very sad moment, but also a relief. We can finish this incredibly weird chapter called Summer 2020 and hopefully, with your help, continue to look at the future.

This is the 6th ZeeZout event that we are cancelling this summer and it hurts. Emotionally and financially. But we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support you have shown us over the last couple of months. It is what kept us going and we are determined to come out of this pandemic stronger.

ZeeZout Festival will take place on September 4 2021 at Tuinen van West in Amsterdam. We are working hard to bring all the artists with us to the festival next year. More news about that very soon!

As promised, all your tickets will remain valid for ZeeZout Festival 2021. We really hope you are all joining us then! We understand that it is not possible for everyone to keep their ticket, that is why you can also request a refund. We will keep all ticket buyers (Eventix & Ticketswap) updated per email.

We can not wait to see you all again, hopefully very soon, somewhere on the dance floor!

Lots of love,

Team ZeeZout
